Project Manager for Epic Systems Revenue Cycle
\n \nWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Project Management Office (PMO) within the IT department. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in front and back-end revenue cycle workflows and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. This role will be responsible for leading and managing complex Revenue Cycle projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
\n \nKey Responsibilities:
\n \nLead the planning and implementation of Revenue Cycle projects across multiple hospitals and clinics.
\nDevelop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
\nEnsure resource availability and allocation based on project portfolio.
\nCoordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
\nDelegate project tasks to team members as applicable.
\nKanban tasks through project management tools for clear resource allocation and prioritization
\nManage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs following PMO protocols.
\nIdentify project risks early and escalate roadblocks to management as needed.
\nCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
\nDefine KPIs for projects during the scoping phase. Collect pre-live metrics for benchmarking.
\nTrack project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals, including but not limited to utilization, performance and necessary optimizations
\nCollaborate with stakeholders to document project requirements, communicate progress, and drive decision making.
\nQualifications:
\n \nBachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
\nMinimum of 3-5 years of Revenue Cycle project management experience, with a strong focus on Revenue Cycle workflows and EHR systems; this includes understanding of the Revenue Cycle process across Patient Access, Midcycle/Revenue Integrity, and Back-end.
\nProven experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
\nStrong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
\nExcellent client-facing, internal, written, and verbal communication skills.
\nSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking.
\nStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
\nPMP, PgMP, or similar project management certification is a plus.
\nFamiliarity with NYS Medical Billing regulations is a plus.
