Our mission is simple: help people move better, feel stronger, and perform at their best — in the gym and in life. We coach a wide range of clients — from young athletes chasing speed and power, to hard-working busy professionals training around demanding lives, to everyday clients staying active for the long haul. We're the Strength & Conditioning program for Staples High School (7 varsity sports) and Fairfield Ludlowe High School Football. What sets us apart is the integration: strength coaching, mentorship, and in-house chiropractic care working together under one roof. This isn't a franchise or a corporate box — it's a built business with a loyal client base and a coaching culture we take seriously. The Opportunity We're hiring a full-time Strength & Conditioning Coach to join the ATP team. Most trainers and recent grads in this industry spend their time traveling from gym to gym, working as 1099 contractors with no benefits and no long-term track. Grinding through split shifts. We're offering something different: a full-time W2 role with real benefits, mentorship from tenured coaches, and a coaching culture built over a decade. You’ll coach small-group, 1-on-1, and team training sessions. Build individualized programs. Develop long‑term relationships with clients who show up because of the coaching — not the equipment. Work alongside our on‑site chiropractor daily and contribute to a training floor where the standard actually matters. What You'll Do Lead small-group, 1-on-1, and team training sessions with intention and detail Build individualized programs based on client goals, history, and progress Coach through the 3‑cue standard — auditory, visual, and kinesthetic — every rep, every client Collaborate with our chiropractic team on assessments and corrective coaching Contribute to a high-standard training floor (setup, flow, culture) Build long‑term client relationships — this is a retention business Bring ideas and leadership to team meetings and ongoing development Who We're Looking For Required CSCS, CPT, or equivalent certification (or on track to complete) CPR / AED certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication and people skills A genuine passion for coaching people Preferred Strength & conditioning background or competitive athletic history Sports performance or rehab/return-to-play knowledge (TPI, FMS, PRI, etc.) Small-group coaching or personal training experience Recent grad or current student in exercise science / kinesiology Schedule Full-time hours run across mornings and evenings, with limited Saturday morning coverage. Schedule is set weekly with a fixed mix of AM and PM shifts — predictable, sustainable, built so you have a real life outside the gym. Must be within reasonable commuting distance of South Norwalk, CT. This is an on-site role in South Norwalk, CT.
