From assisting the Instructor to preparing the recipes and keeping the kitchen clean and organized, you will have a passion for making our guests smile and keeping everything running smoothly in our sparkling clean Kitchens. Responsibilities Open availability is required, including nights and weekends. Taste Buds Kitchen hosts events 7 days a week. Assist the Instructor in creating amazing cooking classes, camps, and parties for ages 2‑99. Create a friendly, energetic, and consistent experience for our guests. Setup before class including preparing ingredients, activities, and prebake as needed for a class. Assist the Instructor with engaging and teaching guests about various cooking/baking skills related to the class menu. Keep the kitchen running smoothly, sparkling clean, stocked, and organized before, during, and after the class. Create a controlled, safe, clean, friendly environment for all clients. Qualifications Ability to follow directions in a fast‑paced environment and move quickly. Natural curiosity and passion for food & culinary entertainment. Upbeat personality with a smile on your face a majority of the time. Eagerness to get your hands dirty. Great communication skills with all ages. Confident with a range of cooking and baking techniques. At least one or more years of experience entertaining kids and/or adults. Relevant cooking/restaurant experience a plus. Formal teaching experience and training in education, childhood development, or related field a plus. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift 45 pounds. Must pass a background check.
